:: September i just realised how many things Taufik and i have in common. HAHAHAHA. yes, i'm still very much in love with him. hello Taufik, we can eat curry together and discuss about how media club changed out lives(HAHAH). omg, pls let me meet a guy like him. i wanna be his "Mrs Jones". :D fenny is on a one-month leave and i have to replace her for the whole of feb. February so happens to be the month that i get my results, Valentines and also maltin's gig(which i doubt i'll be able to attend). DO YOU KNOW HOW NERVOUS I AM?!?! PHWOAR OMG! but there's a part of me that doesn't really care. i mean sure, i'm worried. but i have a feeling that i'll be able to pull through this and get into TP's visual comms.digress digress. anyways, i'm kinda excited and equally as worried abt taking over fenny's shift. obviously i'll earn more money but at the same time, i get to meet more demanding guests and get scolded by elvin. ayy. God, pls help me.. went to NAFA with jackson on friday morning. we both decided that we'll enter NAFA if we aren't able to get into TP. haha. we ate laksa for lunch at er,ican'trememberhername(OHNO! ):)'s store. it was so amusing to see her shout the orders, very auntie of her (: so after that i made my way to meet manman. we went to NYP open hse and toured the place. nth exciting happened. bumped into helen, mich, mahes, esther, limin and liying. the two sisters gave us a short tour around the campus while i was frantically calling and messaging cinthia and yanling. hahah. i headed down to j8 to get some drinks for the class gathering. carrying them around was tough man, esp when you're up the bus with 973128431 of ppl. class gathering was super fun la. although our moods were a little ruin by my junior(read: headlines on the Newpaper. ayy) we played really stupid games and ate to our bellies' content. heh. manman had to take a pic with the indian security guard. HAHAHAH. alyssa brought her bf along too. (: went up to des's hse to watch POTC at around 10smth. i think i've gave like 10kg more because of the chicken and desserts. haha. met up with elana and daphne for cgm. bumped into bre's joshua and met angeline on the bus. haha. omg the hse the cgm was held at was huge lah. its a bungalow with three levels and a pool. cool rite? someone pls kill me now. hoho. after makan-ing at kfc with elana and joyce, i took a cab down to church. the cab driver's kids were from cityharvest too! but he sure was a grumpy guy because of one sentence i said -.- so anyhoo, managed to reach church on time for service. Pst A.R Bernard came and what a wonderful service it was! the presence of God swept through the entire hall and my heart was filled with His love and greatness. i cried a lot during worship and at the end of the service, because i was lifting everything up to God and letting go of my emotional burdens. indeed, God is good now and forevermore. He spoke straight into my heart and (call me crazy or what) i could feel Him placing His hands on my cheeks, as if trying to wipe away my tears. i love you, God! :D yp also blessed me with 10bucks, which was really amazing. i put a 5dollar note into the offering envelope and i prayed "God, here's my all. pls double it and multiply it *grins" and VOILA. 10bucks from yp after service :D went to makan with reiner and nick and we had a good time too. haha and i think maltin's one deprived fella. hoho (: Friday, January 26, 2007
::DesperateCalls i hate it when 1) slim and slender girls complain of being FAT 2) people think they're too high and mighty for anyone to handle 3) good friends cancel appointments last min 4) people i thought i could trust are the ones who lied to me the most 5) the past catches up with the present and future 6) i start trying on feminine stuff. makes me feel disgusted with myself 7) i make stupid blunders in front of impt people 8) pretty girls feel insecure. no, i'm not comforted. i get more demoralised and angsty 9) people ask me whether i have a bf/why i didn't go to a JC and ended up working [a] i don't intend to get a bf, not right now. i'm not ready. besides, the guy i like doesn't feel the same way and there aren't any other guys chasing after me. so there. [b] i didn't go to a JC because I COULDN'T GET INTO ONE. my grades couldn't get me any where, even if it was the less popular JCs. and i would rather spend my time doing something then laze around. it'll only make me more depressed. 10) i start acting like this. yes, the auntie knocks. thus the post. :: CarCrashLove went cycling with ash,des and hannah today at pasir ris park. its super secluded la. good day to shout out at the sea and cycle like crazy. haha. my butt still hurts from the cycling lah. but its damn fun, considering the number of times i fell off. hoho. jonchan joined us after that and woohoo. hahaha. (: we had a great time just riding around and chilling. and i forgot to mention, i played with cats. which only means one thing- allergy. i was basically tearing and itching all over. haha. OHOH we saw horses there! how lovely is that. haha so anyways, been working split shifts on monday and tuesday. now i know what is hard earned money. goodness, i was so zonked out when night came. plus i got scolded by a group of chinese men for making the wrong order, made elvin angry because of that and accidentally dropped the chilli unto the floor(in front of GM and the chilli actually splattered onto the drunk chinese dude). but i had fun in the afternoon, cos rosly and i were making fun of the SPGminah. ohoho.shhh. all these on monday man. tuesday came and yes, i got scolded again. met up with jessie and tried cover up her tattoo, but to no avail. spent some time on that and getting a new locker key. by the time we went up, it was a few mins past noon and elvin was super pissed. eck. sorry la, its not like i wanted to be late. two different companies came down to have a seminar lunch, and i was in charge of the other table. THIS IS THE DAY I GOT MY FIRST COMMENT! WOOHOO. there was this lady who was allergic to seafood so i decided to change the menu for her. she was impressed la. what can i say? hahahha. but OHYAY!:D so night came and safdhaf, it was busy. alfreso area was busy, main dining area had another big company that came in and the wine bar was equally as crowded. basically i was running from all three areas and also to Element. its crazy la. even Rosly could tell how tired i was i dont think i have a future in this industry. obviously this is not my forte. but everyone's nice la, and i really thank God for that. woohoo. and because of the guys, my whole perception of the opposite sex has been changed drastically. hmmm, and i'm going backwards. don't mind. haha so i was conference i/c on sunday. :D hmm, there were a few hiccups here and there. but everyone managed to pull it off. heh. but i just couldn't stand the attitude of a particular member. i slept at 3am while you slept at 1am, and yet i'm still more alert than you. o_o that aside, met up with mich for dinner. after that we headed down bugis for shopping. i bought this 'dress' thing and seriously don't feel like wearing it on sunday, though i like the outfit. hahaha. on saturday i went to NP open hse with manman, bre and her friend, joshua. we just went over to the convention centre and enquired abt our desired courses. and indeed, the mass comm ppl were awesome! really friendly and spunky bunch of ppl. haha. went to get my LOVELY SANDWICH. heavenheaven! headed down to bedok with manman after that to meet up with eileen. headed to TP after that and we had fun just walking around and watching the skit put up by the business sch. i saw letitia, siewling and jasmine there! woohoo! and that stupid guy dressed as the devil (accidentally) poked me with his 'fork'. -.- rushed off after that for work and went to DXO after that. bad experience, don't bother asking. :: Dolt went to makan with amanda, michelle and hwee ying at white tangerine. (okay, its 2am now. so whatever this post is abt, it all happened yesterday. hah) ate choc fondue and wedges! oh love! :D after that, we made our way to take a bus to bedok and head down to TP open hse. along the way, we were joking abt AHEM several school uniforms and how it looks like ______(go figure (:) OMG TP IS SO FUN AND VIBRANT LAH. and i've decided to go all the way for visual comms! the student guides were friendly too. there was a fashion show at the design school. hotstuff i tell ya. i'm all set and ready to enter TP man. haha. and clarence was a great help. thanks dude! now i know what i must do to ace the interview. heh. bumped into huifen at the HTM room.what a coincidence. haha. walked around and caught the skit by the CMM ppl. the cow was HAHAHAHAH. and i think i irritated 2guys from the accounts course. yes, i'm that good. haha. basically we just went around most of the places, except for the engineering side. haha. went off after that for cg. in the bus back to hougang, there was this cute angmoh guy that was standing next to me. tall, fair and handsome. ALALALAL. yes, i ogle too much. went for a spectacular cgm. chanleong's guitar skills was fab, diana and euginia's cheer was exciting and so was lousia's poem, which was an eye-opener. haha. but somehow i felt that my performance wasn't good. it didn't get anyone laughing or cheering. but i knew everyone was just being polite and all. sighhh. anyways, went to have dinner/supper after that at S11. you know how everyone is given a gift/talent. i'm still wondering what's mine. on a lighter note,i saw a vision. well, i was standing at the top a of mountain(think mount everest). "JESUS!!! JESUS!! JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!", louder and louder i cried out. i was so tired and exhausted, until i heard a distant cry "ADELENE!!". i looked around in amazement and apparently, i ran down the mountain and went to crawl up another steep slope. suddenly, i felt a light tap on my shoulder. i turned around and found myself to be in front of Jesus. He helped me up and wiped off the snow on my face and hair. i stared straight into his eyes, full of holiness and purity. tears filled my eyes at this moment in time. and next, i was caught in His warm embrace. He whispered softly into my ears "Adelene....my child..." okay this may seem super unrealistic and dramatic to you. but nothing beats being with Him. i gotta admit, i've been feeling very angsty and dried up lately. oh sighhh.  before i start going on about my daily happenings, i'd like to send my condolences to the guy who just passed away. we don't know each other but i'm sure you are a strong boy, going through all those struggles. You did well, and i'm sure God thinks so too. and know, you're right beside Him. (: long post. don't bother reading, seriously [10/1]Wednesday- went to work in the evening and helped out with the cocktail party. it was a whole lot of fun, except for one guy who managed to ruin (my)night. his friend ordered for him a pint of hoegarrden(sp error) and specifically pointed to one pint that was already on the table. so ok, i got his friend exactly that. you see, everyone was entitled to selected drinks upon presenting a coupon. but hoegarrden was not one of the drinks. so i sincerely told the guy that he had to pay for his drink. he got all uptight and RAHRAHHRAH. basically, i gave him the San Miguel and poured away his hoegarrden, WHICH HE ALREADY DRANK QUITE A BIT OF IT. but i still had to apologise to him. duh, i didn't have a choice. "no its alright. i just wanted you to be clear". dammit dude,you even told your friends that "this girl is so confused" and wanted to "see your manager".jkhsafkasdljadsajfa. but to make up for that, everyone else was uber nice. me: is the food good? guest: yesyes, its very good! and so is adelene. HAHAHHA. omg, thank you. there was another guest who called me ADEL. not bad arr. haha. everyone was really friendly and warm. (: (PS: greg he had a stupid accent and isn't from sg. whatever man) after work, i took a cab down to Oxford Hotel. TIFFY WAS BACK :D. haha. but the hotel is..eck.spent the night there with sam and tiff. we watched HBO, ate italian cookies/snacks and chatted for a while. it was lights out after that but we had more fun in the dark. haha. we all shared the bed and i was caught in the middle of both of them. tiff stuck her butt on my leg because she wanted to let off gas and sam tried to seduce me. HAHAHA. it was damn fun lah because both tiff and i were REALLY restless. i think sam couldn't take the nonsense. haha [11/1]Thursday- went to makan breakfast at the cafe, and i was 'sneaked' in. haha. didn't have to pay for the meal. (: after that, we went off to bugis and walked around. i left at noon to go home and wash up. slept for a while after taking my medication and went out to amara after that to collect my pay. got drenched in the rain too. not to mention, i was wearing jeans. eck. realised that the money-lady went home, so i have to make a trip down again the next day. met up with louisa, tiff and sam for dinner. but sam and tiff couldn't make it on time cos of the bad weather. so louisa and i ate first. when they arrived, we joined them at pastamania and ate again. haha. went to heeren and fareast but all the shops were closing. so we decided to go home instead. [12/1]Friday- went to collect my pay at amara and got drenched, once again. dammit. thank God i wore shorts, but i just had to wear sneakers. tsk. anyways,went to the bank and bugis after that. i got a gorgeous top from topshop. heeehh. spent the rest of the day in the comfort of my own home :D [13/1]Saturday- went to sentosa in the morning with tiff and louisa. bumped into jiajun and teresa too.hahah. when we arrived at sentosa, there was this china guy that approached us. i didn't really know what was going on. until louisa enlighten me after we saw him with 4 kakis. HAHA. inside joke.anyways, spent most of our time in the waters and some knsdajs indians came along and decided to play Monkey in the water. their vocab is really limited to vulgairities and nothing else. after that, we went to vivocity for lunch and roamed around the mall for a while. i rushed off for work after that because Kavi's relative just passed away. don't think there was anything much happening at the restaurant, except for fenny's secret lover from the Indonesian team. : D ohoh, the EPL was played in the restaurant and i FINALLY got to see a liverpool match. HAHAH THEY WON AHAHAHAH :D i told nukhman that manu sucked. and his reply was stupid. eck. took transport home with fenny and we chatted quite a bit abt our love life and stuff. really cool :D [14/1]Sunday- whoa man. what a cold morning. woke up shivering. ayy. had bible study with yanping and discussed some stuff. hmmm. then we went for an INCREDIBLE service. i was dozing off a couple of times, not because Pst tan was boring but because i was so worned out from work the day before. hello, i left work at 2am and reached home at only 3plus. anyways, DELIRIOUS? came and WOOHOOO. omg, everyone had so much fun and not just that. we all were immersed in God's presence. (plus, the lead singer is dksljsad hot. ok adel, shhh)after that, i rushed off for work. saw keith along the way too. heh. when i reached amara, i realised that my nose and cheeks were flushed and that i didn't really need to put blusher.(cos well, i was red enough. HAHAHA)the Vietnam football team came for dinner, followed by the Laos team. the vietnamese really gobbled down their food. plus, they really love their veggies. and i forgot to mention, being the only girl on shift, all eyes were on me. ECK. but a few of them were cute. sdijhfs ok, please ignore that. the coach complaint to me that there wasn't enough food and i seriously thought he was just joking around. so i just lauged it off. but noo,i got scolded for doing so. coach: is this very funny? huh?!?! i got nothing to eat!!! i'm reduced to eating a salad! me: -ayy, wahlaojladsad- er well, its healthy living! *smiles widely coach: what? oh yesohyes, thanks for reminding me! *smiles back thank God!!! :D but i was intimidated by the players. too many eyes watching my every move. after they left, Laos team came by and they too, ate like there was no tmr. and there was this guy that kept staring and smiling at me. which later i found out was the goalkeeper. he's cute lah.kdhaefa adel shuddup. but seriously, they all look much better in person than on tv. ahaha after they left, nth much happened. only thing, I FELL DOWN IN FRONT OF EUGENE AND ERIC! if you don't know who they are, then you shld watch more S-league matches. i was so embarrassed! :\ but well, did closing with Suresh and knocked off at 1am. took transport home with the coolio secruity guy, who happens to live around my area. woohoo! [15/1]Monday- i slept half my day away, literally. and Singapore scored 11goals against Laos.HAHAHAHAHA and the goalkeeper of Laos,no. 1, is only 20. interesting. :D no.6 of Laos is HOTHOTHEAT but i think he's attached. ok adel, you're crazy.shhudup.and i didn't realise that tiff would be leaving in the next few hours. i thought she was laeving the next day. -.- omg forgive me tiff! ): [16/1]Tuesday- another long day at work. managed to catch a bus home with nukhman and we had a good chat. that nitwit. :D oh and i realised that lokman looks EXACTLY like hafiz, except that he's much thinner and doesn't have that mole. o_o [17/1]Wednesday- slacked the whole day. went to work in the evening cos elvin told me the Laos team might be coming. which means, i'll be able to see my eyecandy. lalala. but they ended up not coming. maybe because they lost 9-0 to Vietnam. haha. the Vietnamese were busy munchin away at Element. haha. eeyer oh well. Singapore team and the coach was happy though - sg won. did closing with suresh and kaviarasan. stupid guy with too many stickers. how do you do it man? ayy. and fadzli was joking about the methods of (me)dying. plus, he called me an auntie. tskkk. took transport home and i was the only one in the bus. heheee. [18/1]Thursday- headed down to orchard to meet vivi. and i thought i saw lokman at the hawker centre O_O while on the train to orchard, i saw annann. (: so after getting tix to SOFT from vivi, i headed down to PS. (ayy,i hope nukhman contacts me soon, if not i would have wasted money on the tix.) went to the Samsung Customer Service place and the guy, who had riduculously long fingernails, told me i had to pay $26++ upfront and if the technicians find liquid in my phone, i'd have to pay more for the repairs. omg this sucks man. decided to go home and consult daddy, but he didn't say a word. tchh. ohoh, i saw joanna working at the bakery too. hahha. how cute is she la. :: NewBeing Happy New Year! okay, 5 days have past since the new year began. but hey, i'm sure everyone have been busy doing something - or nothing at all. i kicked start the new year by going for the countdown at esplanade. saw teresa there. haha. well apparently, there were too many people squeezing towards esplanade, so qing and i decided to position ourselves by the war memorial. ok no, the area around there. the fireworks were awesome, but you'll be amazed at the number of foreign workers in singapore. they were screaming and shouting and HO, dancing! there was a group that even charged through the crowd and into my direction. i was so traumatised! i thought i was gonna get molested. =.= hello, i'm a girl too k. so qing and i walked all the way back to dhoby ghaut. boy, the streets were packed with people! havoc i tell you. me and qing even ran down screaming HAPPY NEW YEAR. hahaha. note to self: never go for countdown events held in town jan1- went to have lunch with ash,des and hannah at swensons. didn't really do much cos i was very moody and i left straight after the lunch. sorry guys! ): went to see the doc after that. apparently, the medicine doc lieu gave to me didn't work. finally met a nicer (lady) doc who gave me medicine and explained to me my condition! thank God jan2- i can't remember what i did. hahahaha jan3- was supposed to meet leeyah, jo and ana at 9 but i overslept and only met them an hour later. we headed down to the new school and WHOA MAN. it was huge! we did a little tour around the school while everyone was gathered at the assembly area. mabel goh's the new vp, wonglianhui is back and we have a new other vp. hmmm. the sch's just huge and the syllabus has been changed. sighh, the new generation. anyhoo, went out at night to pass xr some books. chilled out at white tangerine and we ate choc fondue! YUM! we shld do this more often! :D jan4- met up with amanda, ana and jo to makan at white tangerine. i shared choc fondue with ana! hahaha. then we headed down to SP open house. omg, super boring la! i mean, the students weren't very RAHRAH. they were just doing things like it was a normal day at school. i bumped into anita though. haha. i was only impressed at the design school. or rather, i was more into the designs than anything else. jo would agree with me. haha. and it's HAIKAL'S BIRTHDAY! hey you, thanks for the laughter, sarcasm and advice! you're like a bro to me. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :D today- XR'S BIRTHDAY! hey woman! you've been a great friend and our friendship is filled with 5 years of joy, tears, love and happiness. haha. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE! :D |
