 i can't stand this whole fascination 'scene/indie' kids have with photography. i mean, there are some who take mean photos(in other words, awesome photos). while there are some who just typesHobbies: photography and whatever they have is just pictures of them with their friends, cam-whoring. no seriously. don't waste your slr camera.(give it to me :D) its like, they spend about 2000odd(probably sponsered by their parents) for an slr and what do they do? CAM WHORE. AT HAJI LANE. CAMWHORE EH. omg i cannot take this. but like, its not that i'm THAT good in photog and i know how photog is all subjective, but to this extent? =.= anyways short update of stuff sat: mooncake event. was stoning half the time. sun: claim money from jenny. awesome svc. altar call; many ppl :D makan at marina, i think i saw daryl pan. ahahah. mon: school. crushed paper. draw figures. art HAHAH tues: woke up tired, as usual. sab koh had fever=no lesson. yayyyy      wed: discussed history presentation. distracted, camwhore(above; the relatively normal shots we took. hahah), chitchat. donuts, BS - being led by the HS. awesome time (: shared, okay more of listened, with/to lou (:thurs: history, dozed off a bit. haha. 3D, sab koh asked weird qns. shufen and i are excited to see her HAHA. figure drawin was horrid. then cgm. i think pst kenneth is the coolest. :D went back with diana and shaun. diana got off first. shaun and i had a good time of sharing (: Saturday, September 22, 2007
wednesday didn't really do anything. read magazines, books...chilled out at home. then in the evening i had dinner with meifong before heading for powerhouse and BS. i think that's all. hahah thursday arghh was supposed to meet bre and her friends to go tanning, but i woke up with a headache. the world started spinning man. but it turns out i just needed more rest. -.- was supposed to have pm but it got cancelled last minute. and tiff was free, so we finally met up (: yay she passed me my birthday present(t-shirt and sweeetsss) and we went over to NYDC for dinner. ooo their ovenbaked stuff tasted so good, i wanted a second serving. or maybe i was just really hungry. hahah. before that we met this really annoying 'donation-guy' who kept emphasizing his uncle was in jail and how the money would go directly to the prisoners and blablabla. i didnt believe him, though his warrant(??) is real. i mean, i've been in that line before man. and tiff kinda pissed him off. hahah hilarious (: anyhooo, tiff and i chatted about loads of stuff. shared a lot and it was great! its been a while since we had a really good chat (: went over to spotlight cos she needed some knitting tools. oh and before that we spent our time looking at ahemahem, inner garments. hahah then finally we went over to veron's workplace. chatted, i bought slippers(finally!) and we went home together. finally had a chance to meet and catch up with each other. talked abt a lot of stuff (: friday     was supposed to meet eileen and jo for kopi session but i overslept! sorry guys! ): so after that i washed up and got ready for our class outing. turns out only 10 out of 23 ppl came, cos apparently the rest had smth on/not feeling well/fillintheblanks. but it was fun man! we cycled for 3-4hrs and cycled from one end of east coast park to changi(though not all the way. dang man, construction). my stamina is improving hahah! but at the end of the day, our legs were aching. PLUS, we had butt cramps. for divya it just went numb, so she couldn't feel the pain at all. haha gosh! we were all so tired and worn out from the cycling 'expedition' but it was great time out together :D AND OMG I SAW UTT HAHAHAHA. okay i don't know for sure if its really him, cos he was wearing shades. i was cycling out and i passed by this white-ish looking guy blading past. he seems charming and the first thought that came into mind was "oh he looks like utt". and ramzi turned to me and said "eh that's utt, u know?" me and shufen went hysterical la. haha we wanted to stalk him man!haha shoots! anyhoo, we had dinner at BK cos we were in too much pain to go over to chomp chomp. played pool after that before heading home. monday went out with bre to vivo. :D:D talked a lot, as usual. hahha i can never imagine for once having nothing to talk about at all. i mean, there's a lot of catching up to do man! window shopping for me. cos the jacket i wanted from Pull and Bear was from last season! no more!! ): ohoh and we had our fill of cheesecakes, which was a surprisingly horrible experience. made our throats really dry, considering we didn't have water and we were too lazy to pay for water. who PAYS for water eh? (besides those bottled ones la) i'm perfectly fine with (clean)tap water. really. :\ yay i love bre! (: tuesday went out with eileen and jo! passed me my belated birthday present and best eh, i got a lighter and an ash tray! HAHAH are you trying to encourage me to smoke? tsk what friends. LOL anyhoooo, we were supposed to go to snow city but went to science centre instead. saw loads of primary school students there, obviously for excursion. then we were talking about old times, bus trips and all. hahah great catching up with them, though half the time i was just listening/being cut-off halfway when i'm talking. hahah and we went around exploring science centre, basically just pressing all the buttons of the exhibitions and screaming our hearts out. :D then we sat at this morphis ride thing. super cheap thrill pls. to think i was sqirmish before that. i bet the guy in charge of the ride was laughing, silently. but either way we had fun during the ride. cos it was only the three of us in the capsule and we were shouting and talking really loudly. we didn't even know what the video was 'talking' about. wasted our 4bucks. LOL oh and we took polaroids, which were coolio! saw amelia at work today too (:

   first two photos were the demoralising bit. the third and fourth got us high while the last two were alright. cos we got a little too confident and got the timing wrongly. BUT STILL, we like it (: (btw, the last two photos is upside down, i think. hahah) (pls do not read the below. thank you. though if you want then go ahead, but don't say i didn't warn you (: ) was quite zonked out yesterday while serving cos before that i had two nightmares, one of which i died(long story short). and it was so surreal cos i could actually feel something pierce through my body. then there was this darkness that surrounded me and all that was in my mind is the thought of going to hell(spiritual low right now). i kept telling myself "no i will not go down. nonon not now nonononono no hell nono" and at the same time, everything started flashing. it was such a surreal feeling and it did not stop there. the next dream was less horrid and more er..demonic? like how my auntie got possessed and when i saw things through her eyes, everyone had no eyes. just eye sockets, that were apparently lime green and glowing in the dark. and then she fainted. then it continued on from there. but i can't remember what happened exactly. me and some guy(my brother?) were after this minx of a demon and blabla, it wanted to destroy the world. then it hurled huge objects in my face and blablabla. don't remember. but gosh it got my heart racing. and when i finally woke up, it was raining. hmmm so i went to serve and everything went alright. rueben was lecturing me on how to do conference which is quite the irony, when u think abt it. and i got scolded in front of the kids by adrian. after i explained, he didnt realised he was that loud and apologised. considering how he had a bad throat, and can still sound loud, is rather amazing. spent the whole time serving and i didn't get to attend service, which made me even more depressed. so when when pst ushered into worship and started laying hands on ppl, i was stunned. i actually missed the whole entire sermon -.- and i didnt know who he was praying for, though i had this strong urge to go forward. but i just stayed nearby the container and phwoar, the power of God was so strong. i just wept and wept and wept. then God spoke to me. and i just couldn't control my tears... (paraphrasing a little) Him: adel...adel...you know the purpose and future i have for you. it will come to pass but you need to come back. to me... me: but...how can you still...lov.. Him: adel, i've always been here for you. just because i was silent doesn't mean i do not care about you. don't worry, for I am here. and I will never leave you alone because i love you..........and because my yoke is light so cast all your cares and burden upon me. me: *crycryweepweep Him: and i'll bring you to many places. you will be a leader of my people, the shepard of the sheep. and i will reveal to you things which you have never seen before... and immediately i thought to myself, OMG seriously? but as i flowed with the Spirit, i heard myself saying that i will do what God says because i have the strength and the power to succeed. because its Christ who strengthens me. (: and it just surprises me time and time again how faithful God is. He never fails to love, even when we have sinned against him repeatedly. but yet His love is steadfast and....i just love Him. now to get myself to be more disciplined (:  NYHAHAHAH I PASSED MY ASSESSMENT! though i'm quite stunned and amused that i was able to pass my 3D, which looks like a mess of blue and purple.but hahha! for 2days i slept a total of 2-3hrs only, which meifong considers as "no kick la" -.- had make-up photog lesson on friday and we had our go at pinhole photog. we got super demoralised after our first photo cos it was underexposed. and the second was just all black; overexposed. eck BUTBUTBUT our third try got us high! it turned out fantastic(considering the weather was really sucky) and so were the other photos after that. hahaha. and because the photos that came out were negatives, shufen took photos of it in positive/contact?? and it look freaking awesome! who needs fisheye when u have pinhole. HAHAH. andandand we went to dark room, where i bumped head on into dil -.-, to try developing photos and gosh it was fun! though i was getting annoyed with the constant shouting. haha and we had a mini race to the room with hafizi. LOL damn funny after that me and divya went to amara to work, for a day. haha and it was hell lot of fun man! we were all busy running around serving drinks. and they finished two entire barrels of heinekin! and the boss kept asking for more. my goodness man! and some of them were actually playing games to finish up the truckloads of beer. -.- and there was this one time where we had to bring down all the table cloth and hangers(which were all shoved into black trash bags) to housekeeping. and i happily sat on it while waiting for the lift, which kinda lead to a "POOM" and voila, a hole by the side. HAHAH divya did the same thing when we were in the lift and she couldn't get up! we nearly died of laughter. hahahah. but it was fun to see all the familiar faces again (: did i mention that xiaohuaxiaocao(NOT small flower small grass, keith. haha) came to my sch and i completely missed out on it?! now i'm gonna kick back, relax (and pay my overdue library fines.) a lot of interesting events took place over the week(s) and i can't remember most of them. best. haha let's see 1) umbrella flipped up - collecting water instead of blocking water. road junction. ME. omg malu 2) indian guy scratching his crotch in the mrt. eewww 3) cockroach on dinesh's shoulder. HAHAH I MUST SHARE THIS OMG HAHAHAH. we went to makan at the nasi lemak place near campus 3. qiushan and divya were frightened by a cockroach on the floor and dinesh who was sitting oppo of them, acting all manly, was like "where is the cockroach?where where?" and everyone else was looking down on the floor. as i lifted my head up, i caught a glimpse of this black thing on dinesh's shoulder(note: he was wearing red. hahah) and immediately i pointed at his shoulder and gasped me: *points and gasps shufen: whatwhat? *leans on me oh my god! dinesh: *gives a yeahright-stare me: *stiill doing the same thing dinesh: *turns his head HAHAH OMG THIS MOMENT WAS PRICELESS HAHAHA. he started flicking the cockroach off and it fell unto the floor. but it climbed back up unto his jeans and dinesh started SCREAMING and wriggling! HAHAH ROFLMAO cannot tahan. everyone there broke out into laughter! it was damn funny la! shld have shot a vid of it! hahahah. 4)went to comex. hothothot sale promoters. yes i did drool. LOL. anyhoo, got a camera and mp3 player 5) after sound on sunday, they celebrated my birthday. teehee. fellowshipped with mindy, joyce and peishan (: 6) celebrated yp's birthday on sunday :D went to kbox and sang our hearts out. hehh 7) i cried yesterday, in school. over photog presentation. horrible experience. but the girls were really encouraging. thanks all! really appreciate it (:  |
