i didn't manage to get tickets for Coldplay - too slow, all sold out i also didn't get the tickets for Rachael Yamagata - cheaper seats sold out, no money for the the others BUTBUTBUTBUTBUTBUTBUT HAHAHAHAH OLD MAN RIVER HAHAHA I CAUGHT THEM AND THEY ARE BLOODLY BRILLIANT LA OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG I IS DAMN HAPPIEZXZX i'm gonna rant before i embark on (one of) my sleepless night(s). lou and i reached esplanade really early so we gathered at the stage to listen to Omega sing. omg that lady has some seriously smooth vocals. it gave me goosebumps lol after Omega and band was done, lou and i proceeded to the recital hall. we had half an hour to waste so we decided to just stand around and wait for the doors to open. and thank god we went early, cos we had front row seats in the middle man! it pays to be kiasu and bo liao hahah! we even made a new friend! a very mature looking scgs girl, who came alone! O_O anyways, Old Man River's performance was really top notch. it was laid-back, and you could tell how passionate they were(esp Ohad Rein <333) sorry for my lack of proper grammer and stuff, i'm just too star/love struck at the moment to think. haha anyhooo, i noticed that he plays the guitar without using a pick. hmmm probably because most of his songs require plucking haha. but wow man, i was really happy to be seated there right in front of them! i felt like such a n00b la LOL but his tunes are really calm and melodious. its those kind of songs that stick in your head for a long time and you know, make you tap your feet along with the song. haha its damn fun. at one point he even got us to sing along with him. there were several moments where i wanted to stand up and just move to the music but it would be quite odd and embarrassing, since i'm sitting right in front(of him!) at the end of the performance, he sang La(favourite!) and some of us went to the front and started singing and jumping to the music. zomg the bassist is damn hot la. lou says he reminds her of a hippie version of brad pitt. LOL anyways it was damn fun, singing and bopping along to my favourite tune. i even made "stupid faces" at the bassist and he smiled back haha *swoons before we all left, Ohad made all of us do this silly ritual thing where we have to act out our inner animal LOL. so most of us roared and tadah, it was over ): so after it was done, we went out to get Ohad Rein's autograph. zomggg lah i was reduced to a giggly school girl. i stuttered while talking to him and hahahah, there was awkward silences. but he was very nice about it - staring back at me, smiling. HAHAH OMG LOVE HIS BLUE EYES AND CURLY LOCKS OMGGG <333  HAHAHA OMGOMGOMGOMG (he actually looks much better in person. photos fail to do his gorgeous face justice. look at those blue eyes man and omg i shook his hand and he put his arm around my shoulder HAHAHAHAHA *faints) you can't really tell but on the inside, i was like screaming my lungs off and running around in circles. HAHAHA imagine those squealing kids running around in mrt trains. yeah, that was how i felt on the inside. damn happy lah haha i finally get to meet one of my favourite singers and had a really awkward chat with him LOL. i begged him to come back though HAHAH so embarrassing la zzzz hhahaha --------------------------------------- him: i don't really know much about singapore but i drank the singapore sling. its sweet *smiles so i think i know more about singapore now? crowd: (laughs) me: (nervous) er..*sticks out hand THANKS FOR PERFORMING! him: oh no problem (mutters smth) oh sorry, we australians speak a lot -awkward silence- Thursday, March 12, 2009

 i am extremely reluctant to do my work, especially when its dreamweaver! i wish i could just stay home and read Paulo Coelho books all day, with the rain pouring outside and good music playing on my iTunes. i want/need... hair like that(picture above) more money to go to japan(because after reading someone's blog, i wanna bask in the tokyo atmosphere as well) to go for mission trip to japan, tokyo(HAHAH) to learn korean/spanish to go overseas(bangkok/europe/japan/bintan/malaysia...etc etc its been 3-4years since i ever went abroad) more time better grades. utterly disappointed with what i got for graphic design, but i didn't put in much effort so i deserved the it to control my anger and be more tactful to meet TOP <333 more of God. --------------------------- HAPPY BDAY JO! :D -shades/watch/blusher -fish&co -dresses -sparklers -loads of laughter <3 Monday, March 02, 2009
