Monday, March 15, 2010 via Phil Pringle Saturday, March 13, 2010 If you're no couch potato or a fan of the Naked Golden Man, let me enlighten you on the Winner for Best Animated Short Film 2010, Logorama. Written and directed by H5, this animation consists of more than 2,500 logos and mascots to relay a story of Michelin Man cops in pursuit of Ronald McDonald through the logo-filled city of Las Angeles. In the midst of the chase, there is an earthquake that shakes up the entire city, leaving only Esso girl and Big Boy Haribo stranded on a small piece of land. As the camera zooms out of that island, you realised that the entire world - universe even - is filled with logos everywhere. Although the script is nothing to rave about, this short film is definitely top of its game - and I'm not talking about fancy effects here. Insanely creative use of logos to depict the world we live in and the impact it has visually on us. Can you recognize all the logos shown in the film? THE LAND, IN THE CITY...FOR THE MARKETPLACE, TO PENETRATE THE MARKETPLACE! WE ARE MOVING TO SUNTEC CONVENTION CENTRE, MARCH 2011! SO EXCITED FOR IT! WAS LAUGHING AND CHEERING AND CRYING(almost) DURING THE SERVICE OMG IT HAS FINALLY COME TO PASS. AFTER SO LONG...THE LAND!!! OMGOGOMGMG I IS CANNOT BREATHING! AND SUN WAS HERE TODAY AS WELL OMG SO GOOD TO SEE HER AND I CANNOT STOP TYPING IN CAPS BECAUSE I'M IN SUCH A STATE OF SHOCK AND EXCITEMENT! I IS BEWILDERED/STUNNED/SPEECHLESS/DELIRIOUS/DUMBFOUNDED! ----------------------------------- i really am extremely excited about this! been such a long time and everyone has been sowing, sacrificing and giving their all for the building. and we all did it in faith, not knowing if we could have a land at all, much less in the marketplace. and now that it has finally been revealed to us, truly God is awesome! He is more than awesome! He really provided for us a land, a building...a breakthrough! this is so amazing! what a treat! now every single chance i get to pass by suntec convention centre, i will proclaim that THIS IS OUR LAND!
