I know I sound totally cryptic and emotional these days, PMS heightens everything. Damn the hormones haha. So I'm here to give a proper update of what's been happening in my life. But if you're my friend, you probably know what I've been up to ;D WARNING: LOOOOONG ENTRY AHEAD 11th May - Opening Night of 3DD Grad Show    Bought flowers for shan and Royce chocolates for the rest before heading down to the show. It was pretty chaotic. What'd you expect from an opening night? Hahaha But it was good to finally see the stuff our friends have been working hard for for the past few months. Great job! (:14th May - BBQ/Kamelia's Birthday Bash A good time to just chill and hang out with each other after the exams. Had a great time eating(a lot!), catching up with one another and playing games. Plus I managed to grilled/roast/toast/bbq my marshmallows to perfection! [Barney Stinson tone]Awesome! 17th - 19th May - Pre-Grad Show Preparations    Printing of the annoyingly big board, setting up our boards in school, hanging out and bonding with cam(el toe LOL), yj, umi, theo and xh. 20th - 23rd May - D&M Grad Show                 First off, I'd like to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who came down(and brought gifts :D)! It's a bittersweet thing, graduating. But I had fun with throughout the past 3years and the four days of grad show. Spent the time with the usual gang coming back to school and basking in the whole moment (: Might I add that I was wearing a dress and makeup, so that's a very big deal hahaha He came. And I was hyperventilating at the corner, literally. To make it worse, I stuttered a lot and my legs almost gave way. I r awesumzxz. 24th May - Removal of Work     Took down our boards and had a impromptu autograph session at the foyer with a few other people (: AND I TOOK PICTURE WITH MY BEST FRIEND HAHAHAHAHAHAH :D  26th - 30th May - Asia Conference  Was serving the entire time during AC! Had fun "annoying" Yama and serving alongside the leaders, fellow ministry mates and flashing my tag at the security. All-access pass HAHAH Apart from that, the conference really blew me away. Really learnt a lot from it. I hope you did too (: 31st May - proJek Lunch & Movie Caught up with my childhood friend over japanese food and had some pretty interesting arguments/conversation. Quick ah friend, ice cream after you're done preying on sweaty nekkid boys! HAHA Went down to town after that for Prince of Persia with cameltoe&gang (: 1st June - Picnic with cameltoe&gang      Courtesy of cameltoe, we had awesome aglio olio and mango salad. Yj brought sandwiches and hotdog, umi brought french toast and tidbits while I brought jelly :D Great time just chilling, talking and playing games, without any worry in the world! Plus we saw many couples having their wedding shots taken at the Garden. Note to self, don't do cheesy photoshoots or wedding poses when getting married. 2nd June - Farewell dinner for Theo   Was in a grumpy mood so I didn't enjoy myself. But of course that isn't important as long as the main man enjoyed himself with Marche and Swensons (: 3rd June - Snap Snap    (photos by sftey) Had a meal with sftey and Karina before taking a bus down to check out the last kampung in Singapore. We managed to survive the heat and being a walking slab of...food for the mosquitoes. When we were about to leave, we met this really friendly taxi driver who offered us a look into his mansion of a kampung and filled us in on life back then! :D He then drove us all the way down to Yan Kit so we could check out the swimming pool. Sadly we weren't able to get in because it was locked up and had barbed-wired fences (yes we considered jumping over but it was too dangerous...unless you know Parkour). But still, we met another friendly uncle(hello cat lover who owns 50 over cats along tanjong pagar!) who also shared with us about the pool and... government issues. Had korean nomnoms before going over to Karina's to watch movies. Never ever take me out to watch a horror movie. I am noise pollution. PS: Decided to take most of the photos with my film camera but apparently I didn't load it in properly. LOST MY ENTIRE ROLL OF AWESOMENESS AND OMGG MY CAT SHOTS GONE WHYYYYY T_T 4th June - Out with the CG Caught Robin Hood with a few cg members. My legs started to ache in the middle of the show and no prizes for guessing why because the movie was 2+hours long! That being said, it was pretty detailed in explaining the characters and plot. So it ain't that bad a movie. 3 popcorns for it (: Headed over to 313somerset and had dinner at F.I.S.H! Should try it out some time, they serve really good...fish. Over our very fishy meal, we played some korean game courtesy of fanboy JR. Shan't say much but thank God I was the first to start off because everyone else after got interrogated by Gab hahaha. 7th June - Byebye Theo! Overslept and I wasn't able to meet the rest to send Theo off ): Met them after that for a meal at Astons before heading to catch Killers. Hella good movie! There were few moments that were pretty lame but still, I was too busy laughing and gushing over Spencer(Ashton Kutcher) to remember. I need a Spencer...or a Ted Mosby in my life. HAHAHA We need more Spencer in Singapore. Boys/Men, please take note thank you. PS: Don't be killin' people, yo! 8th June - Jap nomnom w Adel & Thai nomnom w Lou Met up with Adeline for some jap nomnoms where we both pigged out and had a good time catching up with one another. Took some 1000 winks before heading out to meet Lou for some quick shopping. Bombarded her with loads of my sarcastic humour(probably one of the only people who can take my nonsense haha) and ended the day with us having dinner at the Thai eatery in FEP. I wanna go there again!!! 9th June - Guitar Hero Met up with a few cg members and headed over to kam/dax's place for GUITAR HERO! FUN TIMES HAHAH had a lot of fun laughing at each other's n00b-ness. And please never hand me the mic, unless you're looking for some serious noise pollution. Dax made smoothies for us all and it was good :D Had like, 5 cups of different smoothies unlike the rest who only had one! 10th June - NAFA FA Grad Show/Farewell Shan           CONGRATS ESTHER! OMG damn proud of you and you look even more awesome after dolling yourself up :D The grad show was awesome! Fine arts is too fine for me to appreciate or understand but one can tell how great the works are! Totally blew me away with the breathtaking pieces! Awesome! (: After that we took a cab down with shan to the airport. Took us awhile to figure out where the check-in was but eventually we got to it before heading to Popeyes for some nomnom! Seriously man, gotta stop bingeing soon before I explode. Anyhoo, met up with our dear michelle zhao (LOLOL) who apparently speaks at the same frequency of dolphins. Only shan could decipher what she was saying while the rest of us look on in confusion. Shan was wearing a dolphin necklace so....Didn't manage to send her off because she was checking in the time shan needs to get on her flight ): So we headed back to T1 and said goodbye to shan. omgg quick quick come back! 11th June - Ultimate LAN gaming :D After dinner, most of the members went to play LAN and we spent a looooong time there, playing L4D2 hahahaha went back at like what...3am??? And our dear YOUTH leader was there as well, fighting crime and zombies with us. EPIC LOL |
